    Job Description

    Hiring an experienced Therapist for 2 local offices (mileage reimbursable). The program offers creative treatment for children from preschool age through high school and their families to enhance their strengths while treating each individual with professionalism and respect. The youth served may have experienced severe trauma with abuse and/or neglect. Referrals may come from a variety of sources.


    Requirements:

    • Masters in Counseling Psychology (LPS) or related field. Required.
    • Masters or better in Social Work. Required.
    • Must be licensed within the State of Ohio
    • Must have strong understanding of addiction and mental illness. Must be able to form effective working and therapeutic relationships.
    • Must be able to effectively and productively work with people of very diverse economic, cultural and administrative backgrounds including those with criminal justice involvement.
    • Must be knowledgeable and responsive to cultural diversity issues presented in the coordination of services.
    • Good working knowledge of computers with familiarity of Microsoft Office software. EMR: Avatar
    • Final applicant is required to be fingerprinted
    • Two written references from a Supervisor
