Genesis10 is currently seeking a Database Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.


Requirements:
At least 7 years real-world experience of database design and development using Oracle 12c or higher

At least 7 years experience developing packages and stored procedures using PL/SQL

At least 7 years experience working with querying XML/JSON database structures

Experience and proficient knowledge of how to troubleshoot and performance tune queries

Experience working with Toad 12.x or higher

Able to translate complex database ideas in terms a non-technical user can understand utilizing excellent written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge and experience using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)

Knowledge reading, interpreting, and explaining Automatic Workload Repository (AWR) reports

Experience developing with JDK for PL/SQL, Java, Oracle Stored procedures

Knowledge and awareness of other non-Oracle DBMS technologies

Good understanding of MicroServices Architecture
