    North Risk's Select Service #oneTEAM is currently seeking a driven and enthusiastic Account Manager. The primary role of this position is to provide exceptional service to existing small business accounts within the North Risk Partners' Select Service Department. An Account Manager must be able to work independently and in conjunction with other members of the North Risk Select Service Team.

    This role will be responsible for servicing any existing and new accounts transitioned to Select Service from various North Risk locations. The definition of a select service account may vary by division, location, or as defined by leadership.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with small business clients through advising and responding to all correspondence in a quick and accurate manner.
    • Answering questions regarding all lines of coverage, and assisting with plan and/or carrier changes, claims, and billing.
    • Collaborate with other Account Managers on the Select Service team to ensure consistency of processes and procedures across all divisions.
    • Monitor and maintain the Select Service task list in collaboration with other Account Managers to ensure completion of tasks in a quick and accurate manner
    • Analyze and develop small business insurance solutions for current clients based on their needs.
    • Exercise independent judgment and discretion when evaluating and processing client requests to ensure appropriate coverage is met, analyzing quotes from carriers for accuracy, and reviewing renewals, endorsements, and cancellations for existing clients.
    • Study trends and advancements in the insurance and finance industries, as well as changes to the regulatory climate for businesses and the insurance industry, overall to keep knowledge current and plan strategically.
    • Attend and actively participate in Select Service team meetings and Commercial Service team meetings.
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with partner insurance carriers.
    • Enter activity and other relevant information into the company's software system(s) in accordance with company procedures.
    • Follow all federal and state regulations, and best practices regarding errors and omissions.
    • Collect overdue account receivable balances from customers. See company policy.
    • Continue professional development; pursue and maintain professional designations if applicable
    SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Perform miscellaneous projects and complete various tasks as requested by management
    Requirements

    JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

    Education, Experience, and Certifications
    • High school degree or equivalent is required
    • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
    • 2+ years of experience in Insurance Industry is required
    • Ability to obtain a property and casualty insurance license
