Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Java Technical Architect with Financial Services experience. This position's primary responsibility will be for financial institution, to help in defining cross LOB architecture, improve existing patterns and introduce new industry standard patterns across the technical stack. The individual should have aptitude to understand the business process, work in a team environment with other architects, business/system analysts and developers.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of
Plano, TX / Atlanta, GA or be willing to relocate to the area.

This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications.

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience in Core Java, Webservices, Kubernetes.
• Experience in architectural solution and best practices for the design solutions.

Preferred Qualifications.

• At least 10 years of experience in Java/J2EE technologies and 2 years of experience as an Architect
• Experience and good knowledge of Webservices, REST services, JSP and Javascripts.
• Experience with any enterprise web server preferably Websphere or JBoss.
• At least 10 years of experience in software development life cycle.
• At least 10 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
• Participate and collaborate with technical, managerial, business executives.
• Co-ordinating the tasks with technical resources and working with project manager to provide required technical support, solution, customization and integration efforts.
• Able to produce a detailed functional design document based on client requirements with clearly documented input/output for the processes/components.
• Provide new technical inputs and participating and planning in Proof of Concept (POC).
• Participate and work in resource modeling and cross functional technical brainstorming sessions.
• Experience in Banking domain.
• Strong communication and Analytical skills.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
