    Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) dedicated to providing top-notch nursing care in Avera's patient-centered environments.

    Job Summary

    • Conducts professional nursing duties, using the nursing process to offer comprehensive care to residents.
    • Demonstrates knowledge of and ability to apply appropriate patient care procedures for the needs of elderly patients.
    • Collaborates in care in a multidisciplinary approach and is accountable for the quality of nursing care provided.
    • Shows understanding of growth and development principles and can address specific issues and data relevant to the patient's status.
    • Possesses the knowledge and skills needed to care for the served population in the department.

    Education and/or Experience

    • Completion of a two-year associate degree program, three-year diploma program, or four-year baccalaureate degree program, along with passing State Board Exams.
    • Prior experience in geriatric, medical, or surgical settings is preferred.
    • Experience in interacting with the public and clients is essential.

    Licensure/Certification/Registration

    • Valid nursing license in the State of South Dakota.
    • Preferred membership in a professional organization.
    • CPR certification required.

    Work Schedule

    • Flexible shifts as required; PRN basis.

    Pay

    The hourly pay range for this role is detailed below. Actual rate depends on experience.

    • $46.50 per hour
