    Job Title: School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) - Contract Position
    Location: Oroville, CA

    Job Description:
    Soliant and its affiliates are currently seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based contract position in Oroville, CA. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with students to help them develop or regain the skills needed for daily living and working. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create and implement individualized treatment plans that support students' academic success and overall well-being.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assess students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
    • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students both individually and in group settings.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social-emotional development.
    • Monitor and document students' progress towards goals, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
    • Provide support and training to school staff on strategies to promote students' independence and participation in the educational environment.

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
    • Valid California Occupational Therapist license.
    • Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
    • At least one year of recent experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a school setting.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
