Description

Design and develop new software and web applications using Java and Spring Boot; deploy applications in AWS higher level services such as ECS and Lambdas and make use of service offerings such as DynamoDB, using Concourse pipelines and Terraform scripts; use Datadog to analyze application metrics and track trends in errors; debug applications with ELK; support applications under development and customize current applications; assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases; analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications; document all development activity; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; and work with the Production Support team to determine the alerting and monitoring used by their team, and to triage and resolve any reported production issues.

Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.

*REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience developing software using Java and Spring Boot; deploying applications in AWS; of which one (1) year includes using Jenkins, Concourse, or any other CI/CD tool to deploy applications; using Datadog or any other application metric analysis tool to analyze application metrics; and debugging applications with ELK, Splunk, or any other application debugging tool.


SALARY:
$87,443.00 to $135,000.00 per year
