    We are looking for Data Analysts with deep experience translating business requirements into technical data specifications, manipulating large datasets, and supporting various data initiatives for our client.

    Our Data Analysts will help design and support a set of data services and capabilities for our client's customers.

    They will work directly with the client's business partners and their Data Engineering and Analytics team to understand the business meaning of data, and provide analysis and requirements so that data design is fully understood and the data service initiatives are in line with the intended design and standards.

    Leverage data tools and capabilities to deliver superior service to client's customers and to advance the Data & Analytics Road Map.

    Conduct discovery and end-to-end data analysis to understand customer needs and to help develop plans and activities to improve data quality.

    Elicit, analyze, interpret business and data requirements to develop complete data product solutions, includes review data models (entity relationship diagrams, dimensional data models), ETL and business rules, data management, governance, lineage, metadata and reporting elements.

    Manipulate large data sets using SQL to understand patterns in the data.

    Perform data profiling using various tools to learn the shape of the data to help inform data quality checks and/or curation rules that need to be developed.

    Support customers in interpreting data and remediating issues when required.

    Engage with data owners, stewards to implement, maintain, enhance data governance, quality, security and privacy requirements, and related policies and standards.

    Prepare technical specifications for data ingestion and transformation rules. Partner with data architects to build data models for efficient consumption of data.

    Support the development of standards and best practices within the Data Analysis team, this includes documentation templates and agile development methodologies.


    What you'll need:


    University or college degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or related field of study.2+ years of relevant experience gathering and documenting requirements as well as technical specifications for data solutions.

    Advanced SQL scripting skills. Python knowledge is plus.
    Experience with AWS platform and tools associated with analytics and data (S3, Redshift, Glue). Understanding of Snowflake platform a plus.
    Understanding of data governance and metadata management (standards, format, definition, structure, tagging, transmission, manipulation, use and management of data). Understanding of Monte Carlo and Atlan.
