    Job Summary


    Reporting to the Chief Brand & Marketing Officer, this role is responsible for overseeing the development of community relationships to assist with the effective delivery of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience in focus areas including STEAM / Trades, Entrepreneurship, Sports / Healthy Living, Outdoor Experiences and Civic Engagement.

    This position works in partnership with other operational and organizational functions to support organizational mission, goals, and strategic priorities.

    This is a remote position.

    Employee must reside within the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan area and attend regular in person meetings.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
    Represent the Council in the areas of youth development, program development and execution and strategic marketing / philanthropic opportunities.

    Establish and sustain relationships with related local and national agencies and


    Build and implement sales strategies for a robust community partner portfolio and develop and obtain new leads and partnerships ongoing.

    Lead and motivate a high performing team through coaching, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, and communicating clear accountabilities.


    Work closely with internal departments to support membership recruitment and retention plans in alignment with the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.

    Develop and manage department budgets and corresponding resource

    Evaluate potential program partners to expand program offerings and to explore possible revenue sources through partnerships.


    Partner with the Philanthropy team to develop fund development strategies and opportunities to increase support for Girl Scouting council wide.

    Qualifications
    Competencies and Areas of

    Expertise May Include:
    Demonstrated success in a leadership position overseeing staff, program development and budget development is required.

    Strong relationship management skills and proven ability to engage a diverse group of organizations, volunteers, and key stakeholders.

    Excellence in organizational management and leadership, with demonstrated experience developing and managing a high-performance team.


    Highly effective interpersonal Mature and proactive, with evidence of having worked as a true business partner to executive level leaders.


    Education and Experience:
    Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field

    Passion, idealism, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed leadership

    Four-Six years of progressively responsible related experience

    Any combination of education, training, and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job

    Valid Driver License with an acceptable driving record
