- Supervise and coordinate all on-site activities, including subcontractor management, scheduling, and quality control, to ensure project milestones are met.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to interpret plans, resolve issues, and ensure project specifications are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential risks, and address any deviations from the project plan.
- Manage project budgets, expenses, and resources effectively to optimize project profitability.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including clients, to provide updates on project status, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and as-built drawings.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial and multifamily construction, with at least 2 years in a superintendent role.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of subcontractors and personnel.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
- Familiarity with construction management software and tools, such as Procore or PlanGrid, preferred.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification or equivalent preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
