7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shift.
Job Description
Seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our Neonatal ICU team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in managing ventilated patients and performing critical care procedures.
Responsibilities
- Independently admit and manage ventilated patients using the Servo U ventilator.
- Set up and manage heliox therapy through both invasive and non-invasive measures.
- Utilize non-invasive ventilation techniques including biPAP and CPAP.
- Administer Bubble CPAP, nitric oxide, and high-frequency ventilation in neonates.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Neonatal ICU or Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
- Current PALS certification required.
- Proficiency with advanced respiratory care equipment including Drager VN500, F&P Bubble CPAP, HFOV, and HFJV.
- Familiarity with electronic documentation systems, specifically Epic.
