- Providing the full range of psychological services for both inpatient (medical, surgical and substance disorders) and outpatient who have emotional or family relations problems; acute or chronic mentally disturbed patients; mentally handicapped, and patients who are exhibiting unsatisfactory personal adjustments.
- Administers and interprets psychological tests and completes psychological data concerning children and adults.
- Responsible for the psychological treatment of the patient, referring medical problems to a medical officer.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of comprehensive and continuing mental health programs and projects.
- Participate in community programs that have applications to improve mental and emotional health.
