Description
Job Type Full-timeDescriptionThe Electronic Gaming Machine Tech 1 (EGM Tech 1) is responsible for the preventative maintenance and minor repair of Electronic Gaming Machines.
Troubleshoots and repairs EGM Machine issues in accordance with department policies and procedures.
Installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and operates IGT Advantage System. Maintains proper documentation on department repair logs, shift logs, pm logs, M.E.A.L. cards, etc.
Monitors sign lighting and graphics reporting any deficiencies to management.
Communicates with various departments by radio in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Maintains professional communication and cooperation with all departments and outside vendors to open service tickets. Responds to floor calls timely and courteously.
Ensures all slot machines are secure.
Adheres to departmental and casino policy and procedures.
Safely and effectively operates shop tools including hand tools, soldering equipment, electronic test equipment and other equipment as required.
Other duties as directed by management.
WORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and can occasionally reach a high level for short periods of time.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend and squat frequently.
Must regularly lift and /or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds with assistance as needed.
Safely and effectively operate shop tools including hand tools, soldering equipment, electronic test equipment and other equipment as required.SERVICE COMMITMENTS
Must have 6 months experience as an EGM attendant, a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to pass an EGM Tech 1 exam.
General understanding of computer programs, including all windows applications required.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means.
Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing. Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events.
Salary Description $15.50 / hr
