About This Role Wells Fargo is seeking a Private Mortgage Banker in Consumer Lending as part of Home Lending Learn more about our career areas and lines of business at In This Role You Will Participate in soliciting residential mortgages from various sources Produce high quality jumbo loans which are compliant and provide excellent customer service Build relationships focused on affluent borrowers with realtors builders financial professionals bank stores past customers and other non traditional sources Develop and maintain a high degree of visibility for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in the marketplace stay informed of mortgage industry trends and developments in the assigned market Present recommendations for producing loans exercise some independent judgment while developing understanding of and adherence to Private Mortgage Banking Sales functional area policies procedures compliance requirements generating loans Understand real estate appraisals title reports and real estate transactions Receive customer applications quote the rate points complete follow up activities with registration lockin analyze offer mortgage loan products based on client needs Review analyze low moderately complex financial credit data match customer needs with an appropriate loan program level risk Inform prospective existing customers Wells Fargo Home Mortgage programs rates policies underwriting requirements procedures maintain standard client satisfaction quality by ensuring timely proactive customer communication Pursue Wells Fargo training offerings increase knowledge company products policies procedures underwriting requirements
This SAFE position has customer contact job duties which may include offering negotiating terms taking application dwelling secured transaction As such this position requires compliance S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act 2008 related regulations Ongoing employment contingent meeting all such requirements including acceptable background investigation results Individuals SAFE position also must meet Loan Originator requirements Regulation Z LO outlined below
