How you'll make an impact in this role

• Operate equipment and perform various mammography related procedures.
• Explain procedures and educate patients about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines
• Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted. Radiologic Technologist issued by Radiology Tech licensure issued by the Illinois Emergency Mgmt Agency required in combination with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted. Radiologic Technologist issued by Radiology Tech licensure issued by the Illinois Emergency Mgmt Agency required in combination with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• 2 years Mammography experience
• Ability to work: Days, 8 hour shifts, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. with 1 rotating evening 10:00 a.m.-6:30 p.m., Every other Saturday (days) and every other Monday off.
• Ability to rotate to Schaumburg Outpatient Center location
