    Succeed in This Role

    The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for executing field service activities, including preventative maintenance, inspections, start-ups, and emergency repairs, ensuring safe and efficient system operation according to design specifications and customer requirements.

    This role demands meticulous system troubleshooting capability, strict adherence to safety standards, and effective communication with clients to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction.

    You'll repair generators, respond to emergency calls, and commission new systems as part of our team.

    What We're Looking For

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent, and at least 2 years of experience in HVAC, or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Fulfill union qualification process for Journeyman standing
    • Knowledge in all facets of the HVAC industry, including Air Conditioning, Heating, Electrical, Boilers, Humidification, Dehumidification, and Refrigeration
    • Universal EPA CFC certification required
    • 10-hour OSHA certification required
    • Highly motivated and independent thinker needed
    • Able to thrive in fast-paced, high-profile customer setting, multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
    • Knowledge of HVAC&R theory, solid mechanical, electrical troubleshooting, and repair skills required
    • Ability to read wiring diagrams, mechanical layouts, and blueprints required
    • Experience installing clean, dry refrigeration piping systems and associated practices
    • Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with handheld devices
    • Valid driver's license with clean record required
