Description:
Performs non-invasive vascular ultrasound studies; carotid, peripheral arterial, peripheral venous, abdominal vascular, dialysis access, intraoperative and/or ultrasound guided procedures according to ICAVL standards and current department policies.
Care and maintenance of testing equipment; cleaning as required by standards and reporting of malfunctions to appropriate service individuals according to policy.
Compilation of accreditation correlation data daily as needed for all areas of testing provided in the department. Obtains mandatory PV Lab conference CMEs as provided by the Dept of PV Surgery and the SSOM. Participates in taking call according to policy and/or the needs of the department/hospital.Education and training of physicians, fellows, students, co-workers and new employees in the practice of vascular technology and interpretation of vascular studies.
Experienced Vascular Lab technician with licensure/certification and minimum 1-2 years of job-related experience to perform non-invasive vascular ultrasound studies.Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
