- Implement integrated marketing strategies that support growth goals that align with BetterLife's marketing, mission, and brand strategy.
- Perform day-to-day email marketing activities including email campaign creation, drafting, editing, proofreading email content, and deployment of one-time, recurring, and triggered emails and email automations.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to write compelling and engaging content across a wide range of channels and audiences including email marketing, social media, magazines, blogs, websites, and direct mail.
- Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms to increase brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty.
- Maintain and update company WordPress including copywriting, event landing pages, editing, images, videos, SEO and analytics.
- Be solutions-oriented and results-focused; Hold yourself and others accountable for solving problems, completing tasks, and realizing results.
- Feed the culture of encouragement, positivity, and optimism.
- Be an enthusiastic learner and stay informed on the latest trends in marketing and adapt strategies to maintain the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
- One to three years of Marketing experience preferred.
- Marketing Knowledge and Experience: Proficient knowledge and experience of marketing principles and strategies, enabling the creation of impactful campaigns that drive engagement and achieve measurable results.
- Digital Marketing Proficiency
- Multifaceted Skills and Compelling Communication: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to craft highly compelling messages tailored to diverse audiences and demographics.
- Marketing/CRM Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience with marketing and CRM platforms (e.g. HubSpot/Salesforce) email marketing platform, including creating and optimizing email automations for various campaign initiatives.
- Self-Directed Initiative: Possessing a strong sense of initiative and self-direction, with the ability to find innovative solutions and effectively manage tasks.

Position Overview:
Reporting to the Manager of Marketing, the Marketing Specialist role will work to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns to drive business goals while supporting our current members. This role will be responsible for driving brand awareness, increasing sales, and engaging current and new members through executing innovative campaigns and creating compelling content. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to become a key player to help us fuel our growth as we begin collaborations with industry-leading marketing agencies.

Job Type: Full-time
Benefits:
Work Location: Onsite or remote opportunity is available for the qualified candidate.
Travel: This position requires minimal to no travel. On occasion, may be asked to attend seminars or conferences.
Physical requirements: This position is performed in an office environment (could be done remotely) and requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Individuals must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
