    Description

    What will you be doing?

    • Provide friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping in our store and finding what they are looking for.
    • Ensure all customers have a quick and friendly checkout experience.
    • Assist with truck unloading deliveries and tasks related to merchandise presentation throughout the store, including maintaining store storage standards to uphold our brand promises.

    Main Activities

    • Assist customers in shopping, finding the product they are looking for, and finding solutions.
    • Provide a quick and courteous checkout experience and handle money according to standards.
    • Educate customers on the benefits of the rewards program and enroll them.
    • Inform customers about the Customer Voice Survey (CVS).
    • Assist with omni-channel processes, including Buy Online, Pick Up in Store (BOPIS) orders and store-shipped orders.
    • Participate in truck unloading processes, replenishing displays, and planogram (POG) setups.
    • Responsible for merchandise organization and maintenance, including the merchandise return process, restocking shelves, and general store organization to ensure a well-presented and stocked store.
    • Perform in-store stock optimization tasks and setups for weekly promotions as assigned.
    • Support loss prevention and security programs.
    • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements, practice company policies and standards.
    • Interact with others in an acceptable and respectful manner, remain positive and respectful even in difficult situations, promote commitment to the company's vision and values, project a positive image, and serve as a role model for others.

    Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

    Preferred type of experience required for the position:

    • Retail sales or customer service experience preferred.

    Physical and Environmental Requirements

    • Ability to stand for long periods.
    • Ability to move around the store.
    • Bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch frequently.
    • Lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.

    • Public retail store environment to take care of customers; all public areas are air-conditioned; some warehouses may not be air-conditioned; outdoor work may be assigned (collecting shopping baskets or during truck unloading); the framing workshop has a glass cutting machine and a heat press; working hours include evenings, weekends, and early mornings.
