KGI's Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) program will emphasize occupation-centered practice, innovation, leadership and advocacy, cultural responsiveness, lifestyle medicine for whole-person care, research and evidence, and optimized service delivery throughout the curriculum. The core occupational therapy faculty position will be involved in curriculum design, teaching, service, and research in KGI's OTD program. The position is a ranked faculty role as either assistant/associate/or full professor, commensurate with experience. The position is full-time on a 12-month schedule. Education and Experience:
A doctoral degree from a United States Department of Education accredited program is required. A Post-professional OTD, Ph.D., ScD, or EdD degree is preferred.
Licensure as an occupational therapist in the state of California is required, as well as certification as an occupational therapist by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
At least two years of clinical practice experience is required, previous experience with tertiary teaching and scholarship is preferred.
