    Due to the growth, Paragon Staffing, LLC is looking for a qualified TIG welder to join our team We take the stress and trouble away from finding each individual the right employment opportunityTIG welders are responsible for the fabrication and welding of aerospace tubular, sheet metal and casting engine components.


    Duties and Responsibilities:


    Set-up and layout jobs using blueprints, diagrams and fixtures following welding procedures to TIG weld in all positions including the use of rotary turntables for manual welding.

    Inspects, maintains and logs preventative maintenance on equipment needed for welding and fabricating.

    Sets up machines according to work instructions to trim, size, form, inspect, and GTAW (TIG weld) material to meet fabrication drawing requirements.

    Drawing review and compliance for final dimensions, weld note callouts, base material and filler material selection.

    Solvent cleaning, trimming, sizing and polishing to prepare weld joints for weldingTack welding, fabrication of shop aids and fixtures to assist fabrication and weldingVideoscope inspection for root side weld defects.

    Visual weld inspection using fillet weld gauges, calipers, micrometers, height gauges and final weld fixtures.
    Weld inspection for weld size, face and root reinforcement, cracks, inclusions and porosity.

    Lean Manufacturing, general housekeeping, work in a teaming environment, 5S.Daily compliance to customer drawings and specifications to maintain aerospace Quality Standards.

    Complies with internal quality system and regulatory requirements. Requirements and QualificationsCompletion of technical training or apprenticeshipKnowledge of both TIG and MIG welding (required)


    Welding certification (required)Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation.3-5 years of experience as a TIG Welder.
