    The Regional Manager for Affordable Housing - Your Next Career Opportunity

    The Regional Manager for Affordable Housing plays a vital role in ensuring the financial and operational success of low-income housing properties. It's not just a job, it's an opportunity for long-term employment and massive potential for career growth.     Responsibilities:

    • Ensure full compliance with Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) requirements.
    • Regularly inspect apartment buildings to maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance standards.
    • Track repairs and turnovers to ensure efficient completion.
    • Address building violations promptly to maintain tenant satisfaction.
    • Review financial statements and operating budgets for each property.
    • Prepare for inspections and reviews from investors, partners, and lenders.
    • Participate in budget planning and approval.
    • Work with managing agents to maintain lease renewals and timely filling of vacancies.
    • Assist the Director of Asset Management with additional duties as assigned.

    Qualifications/Skills:

    • 3-5 years of relevant experience in property/asset management at a Regional level.
    • Demonstrate expertise in affordable housing property management.
    • Strong financial acumen and analytical problem-solving skills.
    • Experience with financial models and proficiency in Excel and Outlook.
    • Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
    • Self-motivated, independent worker with strong communication skills.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree.
    • Experience with affordable housing, HUD, Section-8, LIHTC, tax-subsidized housing.
    • ARM, COS, or Tax Credit Certification (Preferred).
