Take on a pivotal role in the renewable energy domain as a Project Engineer specializing in Solar Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) for Commercial & Industrial (C&I) ventures.

This position requires a blend of technical proficiency, leadership qualities, and creative problem-solving skills to guarantee the effective strategizing, designing, and implementation of solar energy initiatives. This position offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to contribute to sustainable energy solutions.

This position is located in Houston, Texas.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure engineering solutions are aligned with project specifications, adhere to industry standards, and comply with regulatory requirements.
Offer comprehensive technical support across the planning, design, and execution phases of projects. Conduct detailed system analyses to maximize design efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Actively assist in the procurement process, ensuring the timely availability of materials and equipment essential for project success.
Monitor the construction phase, emphasizing safety and quality standards, supervising site activities, and managing contractor engagements to ensure project objectives are met.
Help ensure all project activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, implementing rigorous quality control processes.
Create and maintain critical technical documentation, including design drawings, system specifications, and operational manuals, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Communicate technical details effectively with all project stakeholders, facilitating clear understanding and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Renewable Energy Engineering
3+ years of experience in engineering roles specific to solar energy projects within the commercial and industrial sectors.
A solid grasp of the permitting process, electrical codes, and relevant regulations for solar project development and construction is required.
Certifications (Preferred):
Professional Engineer (PE) License
NABCEP PV Installation Professional or Design Specialist
LEED Green Associate or Accredited Professional (AP)
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Training
