    Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

    An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to support school-based therapy services in Cambridge, MA. This contract position focuses on providing vital therapeutic interventions in an educational setting, specifically tailored for the Extended School Year (ESY) programs.

    The ESY session begins on June 29th, with two program options available: a 4-week program concluding on July 23rd, and a 6-week program ending on August 6th. Services are delivered Monday through Thursday, offering a balanced work schedule during the summer months. This role is ideal for Occupational Therapists experienced in school environments and passionate about helping students achieve their developmental and functional goals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
    • Implement therapy sessions that align with school and state guidelines.
    • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and school staff to monitor student progress.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory requirements.
    • Participate in team meetings and provide professional input on student needs.

    Qualifications and Desired Experience:

    • Valid Occupational Therapy license.
    • Prior experience working in school settings.
    • Knowledge of school-based therapy protocols and educational standards.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to engage and motivate children in a therapeutic context.
