    Job Title: Medical Assistant/Medical Administrative Specialist Instructor

    Job Description

    The Medical Assistant/Medical Administrative Specialist Instructor will teach students the skills and knowledge required to succeed in this field. The instructor should maintain a well-organized classroom environment that fosters learning and prepares students for the workforce.

    Requirements

    • Understanding of adult education environments and the needs of learners.
    • Ability to create a positive and effective learning environment.
    • Knowledge of professional career paths for enrolled students.
    • Motivation, dedication, and enthusiasm for teaching.
    • Good organizational and communication skills.

    Credentials and Experience

    • A minimum of four years' experience in Medical Assisting (Front and Back Office).
    • An Associate's Degree in a related subject area or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
    • CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, and CMA preferred.
    • BLS instructor certification preferred (training/certification provided).

    Employment Status

    This is an adjunct, hourly, non-exempt position. Adjunct faculty hours are determined by scheduled courses and may vary from week to week.
