    Description


    Direct day-to-day business, academic, technical, and administrative operations of the program and facilities of the Master of Virtual Production at the Martin Scorsese Virtual Production Center, Tisch School of the Arts. Enable the Film and Television community to meet its academic mission by leading and managing all aspects of film technologies, policy development & review; staff hiring, training, and supervision; fiscal planning; facility enhancements; and assigned student services and vendor relations. Ensure all faculty, staff, students, and program affiliates can accomplish their teaching, research, and curricular goals.

    Required Education:
    Bachelor's Degree
    Preferred Education:
    Bachelor's Degree Performing or Visual Arts
    Required Experience:
    5+ years production operations management, industry producing, budget administration and staff supervision experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Preferred Experience:
    5+ years Experience in academic and/or production environment.
    Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
    Excellent communication and organizational/project planning skills, including developing budgets, prioritizing and organizing work, and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to problem-solve effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to build effective relationships and tailor business and film technology solutions that meet stakeholder needs. Proficiency with a wide range of current design and production technologies and effects software. Ability to direct, evaluate, and implement a variety of operations and activities.
    Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
    Knowledge of current and emerging business and film technologies regarding professional film, television, and media production.

    In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $85,000.00 to USD $105, New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
