Summary: Seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer with a strong background in software testing tools and the Software Development Life Cycle.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• Must possess DoD Secret security clearance
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
• Experience using software testing tools
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Experience writing Test Plans, Use Cases, Tractability Matrices, and Test Cases
• Proficiency in SQL queries for data verification, data validation, and data integrity
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira
• Experience with source code version control tools like Git

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in Web and Internet technologies
• Familiarity with Software Test Automation tools, especially Selenium and Eggplant Functional
• NAVAIR experience, specifically Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) or aircraft Support Equipment (SE)

Responsibilities:

• Implementing software testing strategies
• Defining the scope of testing within a given release
• Developing comprehensive test plans
• Building test scenarios and test cases to determine if the system meets all approved requirements
• Planning, deploying, and managing the testing effort for a given release

-Conducting software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems or network environments.

Pay Details: $38.00 to $51.00 per hour
