    Description

    Multi-state design firm is seeking a Project Civil Engineer – Bridge/Structural for their team in Omaha, Nebraska

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate on roadway, traffic, geotechnical, and hydraulic engineers on a variety of projects
    • Serve as project manager/lead technical engineer on small to medium-sized bridge projects
    • Prepare planning/design documents
    • Perform design calculations
    • Provide quality control reviews for work completed
    • Manage project scope, budget, and schedule of projects to meet deadlines and expectations
    • Mentor/train staff
    • Assist with business development
    • Travel to job site as needed

    -

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with emphasis on structural engineering
    • Master's degree a plus
    • 5+ years of experience
    • PE License
    • Ability to become licensed in other US States (through LEEDS or similar)
    • Proficient with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design
    • Experience designing prestressed concrete and steel girder bridges
    • Experience with bridge analysis and design programs (LARSA, LEAP Bridge Enterprise, Lpile, SPColumn, MDX).
    • Experience with NDOT or other State DOT Bridge Projects

    Salary is commensurate with experience.
