    Reporting to Director Service Quality & Program Development, the Quality Engineer's primary duty is to ensure product reaching end-users maintains Milwaukee's superior quality reputation.

    This includes identifying / executing risk mitigation, process control activities and reporting Metrics. This requires taking a hands-on approach to solve complex issues while communicating timely updates to management. The fast-paced environment allows the opportunity to implement new, innovative solutions both within the service network and company-wide.

    As part of working for Milwaukee Tool, you will assist across the lifecycle of many new, exciting products which deliver unique solutions to our end-users.

    Duties and ResponsibilitiesResearch, develop and revise Quality Policies, Procedures, System Instructions, Process Control Plans and Work Instructions that unify the end user experience across global service network.

    Help manage and create effective corrective/preventive plans to mitigate Service, manufacturing, or part Quality risks.
    Create Work instruction that reduce variation across the vast service network.
    Perform process and quality system audits to ensure conformance to specifications and documented procedures.
    Measure, track, and Report KPI to key stakeholdersLead root cause analysis activities.


    Maintain a current knowledge of:
    The latest Auditing procedures and software and introduce them into the company where appropriate.

    The latest drawing and test specification standards (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance, etc.)Statistical process control and AQL sampling methodologiesThe structure and workings of the Milwaukee Quality Management System and all certifying agency requirements.

    QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering, Operations, Business, or educational / experience equivalentEntry level to 5 years' experience in related quality and/or reliability fieldPrevious exposure to quality management systems and control structure including auditing and control plan creation.

    Strong written and verbal communication skills with creative problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to travel up to 25% of the time (Mostly Domestic and Some International)Experience with service / repair industry is preferred.

    Knowledge of power tool usage is required.
