    The Strategic Technology Analysis Group (STAG) provides program management, engineering services, and analytic support to the US Space Force, US Air Force, US Space Command, and US Strategic Command

    SPA is hiring a highly qualified Security Operations Support position to support the United States Space Command (USSPACECOM) Facilities Division (J4X)
    Responsibilities This position will support security operations and related activities on the site of the USSPACEOM military construction/modification projects
    This support includies program protection support, while being responsive and flexible to dynamic SAP security situations
    They will assist the Government organizations such as AFCEC, USACE, and USSPAECOM J4 with presenting, justifying and defending priorities and interests
    The position will support project management ensuring on-site construction security operations conform to Construction Security Plan developed IAW intelligence community directives and standards
    They will aid with formulating goals, plans, policies, and procedures affecting security operations at the military construction project site and assist with guidance in transition planning that supports the Commander's priorities and make appropriate program corrections to accommodate changes as directed
    This position will assist in security support with respect to advising and monitoring the construction surveillance program of the Construction Security Plan (CSP)
    This includes construction, field and office activities related to administration of the construction surveillance program
    They will also assist in providing project advice and guidance on matters of security
    They will administer site-specific training to the Construction Contractor's personnel and Site Security Personnel on security restrictions and construction site operational procedures
    They will also assist with Security inspections to ensure compliance with SCIF and SAP requirements
    This position will perform escort duties for uncleared and emergency personnel by verifying visits prior to entry, accomplish SCIF visitor log, provide security briefings and inspect hand carried items prior to entry, activate rotating light alerting systems mechanisms to alert SCIF occupants of the presence of uncleared personnel, always maintain positive control and surveillance of uncleared personnel while in the SCIF, and complete the SCIF visitor log upon completion of visit
    They may be asked to perform other security functions including performing Security Manager duties as is necessary to meet mission requirements for facilities as directed by the Government and may perform Security Assistant duties include administrative security functions or other support activities per the policies and guidance of the USSPACECOM Command Security Manager responsible for the management of a collateral classified areas (i.e
    open storage, controlled access area, etc.)

    Qualifications Required Qualifications:

    • 10 years of experience in the physical security field, with a background in DOD security
    • Current Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility to obtain a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance
    • Experience with physical security requirements in Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) and Special Access Program (SAP) environments
    Knowledge and ability to advise others on the spectrum of physical security requirements inherent to TS/SCI and SAP facilities Desired Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's degree or Associates Degree in security-related fields of study or equivalent
    • Experience with USSPACECOM mission partners (DoD, Joint Services, External Partners)
    • Ability to work in a matrixed environment of contractor, vendor, and government personnel in a fast-paced team
