    We are looking to recruit a Senior Quality Engineer for a global composite materials manufacturer based at their Havre De Grace, Maryland site.

    To be considered for this position as a Senior Quality Engineer you must possess significant industrial experience in a similar position that encompasses quality configuration in the Aerospace industry. Any applicant must have experience in working with AS9100 Rev D and ISO9001 QMS.

    As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will become part of a new global team to assist in reviewing changes, controlling documents, managing quality-based projects and develop specification review processes by liaising with customers.

    Basic salary: $90,000 - $150,000 - compensation package will be dependant on a variety of factors relating to the applicant.

    Role responsibilities

    • The successful candidate will manage specification review processes and the associated change management across multiple sites.
    • Actively review and develop a robust specification review management process.
    • Develop and standardise a global specification review process.
    • Work closely with customer to improve customer satisfaction levels.
    • Collaborate with engineering, account management, quality and production sites across multiple sites internally.
    • Lead quality risk assessments and audits.

    Role requirements

    • B.S educated as a minimum in an engineering discipline or scientific subject.
    • Working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9001 essential, any familiarity of NADCAP or IATF16949 highly desirable.
    • Understanding and knowledge of six sigma tools including 5S, process control MSA, continuous improvement or Gauge.
    • Previous experience in a similar role that involves liaising with customers on a regular basis.
