Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Location: Cary, NC, Hybrid: 3 days onsite, This role will follow hybrid work schedule - Should be in the office every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and as required by the manager

Duration: Long Term Contract

JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview: As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the development, maintenance, and support of software products. You'll be part of a collaborative team working towards delivering high-quality solutions throughout the software lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Meet or exceed test coverage goals through the creation of unit and functional tests
Ensure system reliability and response times meet defined SLAs
Complete development tasks within estimated timelines
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to peers
Drive innovation in development processes

Requirements:

7+ years of Java/J2EE Web Development Experience
Proficiency in front-end, middle tier, and backend technologies
Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Angular, and other relevant technologies
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud services
Strong understanding of Agile methodology and deployment processes

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
7+ years of technical experience in a development environment
AWS Developer or Solutions Architect certification (optional)
