    Job Description:
    We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our team.

    As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of our software development and deployment processes.

    You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle, ensuring a secure and compliant environment.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Security Integration:

    • Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
    • Integrate security tools and automated tests into the development process.
    • Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.

    Collaboration and Support:

    • Work closely with development and operations teams to address security concerns and provide guidance on best practices.
    • Ensure security measures are implemented at each stage of the development cycle.

    Incident Response and Monitoring:

    • Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and proactive measures to prevent future occurrences.
    • Implement and manage incident response procedures and practices.

    Automation and Optimization:

    • Automate security processes and tasks to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
    • Continuously optimize and improve security measures based on industry best practices and emerging threats.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field, with a focus on security (specific years depending on seniority).
    • Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
    • Handson experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and best practices.
    • Experience with security tools such as vulnerability scanners, IDS/IPS, and SIEM.
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified DevSecOps Professional, AWS Certified Security Specialty) are a plus.
