Must have, as a minimum, three (3) years experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital or nursing facility.
    Must possess, as a minimum, a Bachelor's Degree. Must possess a current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator's license or meet the licensure requirement of this state.
    Strong evidence of Eden Alternative Principles and or Greenhouse project/Household models
    Strong evidence of coaching, team building and servant leadership skills as well as the ability to empower others.
    Strong evidence of the ability to lead a community in all disciplines (i.e. marketing, admissions, finance, personnel, clinical).
    Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

    Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.

    Must be knowledgeable of laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to nursing facility administrative procedures.

    Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., necessary for providing quality care and maintaining a sound operation.

    Must be able to communicate policies, procedures, regulations, reports, etc., to personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and government agencies/personnel.

    Must be knowledgeable of computer systems, system applications, and other office equipment.
    Works in all areas of the community.

    Is involved with residents, personnel, visitors, government agencies/personnel, etc., Is subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents, family members, etc.

    Communicates with the maintenance personnel, nursing staff, and other department supervisors.
    Works beyond normal duty hours, on weekends, and in other positions temporarily, when necessary.

    Is subject to injury from falls, burns from equipment, odors, etc., throughout the workday, as well as reactions from dust, disinfectants, tobacco smoke, and other air contaminants.

    May be subject to the handling of and exposure to hazardous chemicals.

    Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people within the facility.

    Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility, which include a mental and physical examination.

    May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
