    Job Overview



    The Engineering Intern assists in the documentation, development, support, assembly, and design of new or updated jigs, fixtures, machines, and processes.



    Highlights of your role

      DESIGN/CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT- Assist in or manage the design of fixtures, tooling, process, and equipment. Detail and annotate models and drawings to Marvin standards.
    • PROJECT MANAGEMENT- Assist with management and planning for work with engineering or maintenance departments to ensure projects are meeting the budgetary and timeline constraints required.
    • COMMUNICATION - Work with Design Engineers and Project managers to ensure designs and detailing meet the requirements of the project. Communicate equipment, jig, process, and product changes proactively.
    • DOCUMENTATION-- Maintain all necessary documentation for projects including but not limited to detailed mechanical and electrical schematics, control system logic, associated manufacturing/process literature, and budgets.



    You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

    • Must be enrolled in an Engineering program pursuing a bachelor's degree or a two year degree in Drafting and 3D Technologies.
    • Working knowledge of 2D and 3D modeling software required. Inventor experience is preferred.
    • Must be able to problem-solve and communicate effectively
