KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Manage the calendar, ensuring the team is on track for key due dates.

· Identify opportunities for greater efficiencies and execute changes to technical design process.

· Mentor associates to help them elevate their skill set.

· Initiate technical packages, create patterns, and lead fittings when required.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• 15 years experience in Technical Design of RTW for American or European Brands, preferably Contemporary or Designer Brands.

• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team.

• Comfortable communicating to all levels of the organization.

• Strong time management skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to lead fittings and solve fit challenges without assistance.

• Strong pattern making skills.

• Experience traveling overseas and working with factories.
