    Join Our Team:
    Empower Patient Wellness as a Nurse Practitioner in a Collaborative Outpatient Setting

    Our client dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those we serve. The Nurse Practitioner, working under general supervision in an outpatient setting, plays a crucial role in patient care, encompassing diagnosis, treatments, and consultations. Their responsibilities include educating patients on preventive care, administering prescribed treatments, conducting physicals, ordering tests, and serving as the primary healthcare provider within a collaborative treatment team.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Performs physical examinations, determines the need for x-rays and laboratory tests for new and existing patients.
    • Interprets examination findings and test results, implementing and adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
    • Gathers patient data through interviews, preparing and reviewing comprehensive case histories.
    • Delivers holistic healthcare to entire family units, covering preventive medicine, behavioral sciences, and community health.
    • Collaborates with healthcare practitioners for outpatient and inpatient care, participating in on-site clinical procedures.
    • Assists in medical care treatments directed by specialists, determines the need for consultations.
    • Instructs healthcare providers and non-medical personnel on various health topics, including first-aid measures, basic and advanced cardiac life support, and healthcare maintenance.

As a supervisor you will assume the responsibility of assuring that all employees working under your direct supervision understand their role in accomplishing the strategic goals and performance measures of the Agency.
    Qualifications:
    • Nurse Practitioner degree from an accredited nursing school
    • Active state license and DEA license in good standing
    • At least five (5) years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (Physical Health and/or Psych experience preferred)
    • Proficiency with EMR systems
    • Valid and unrestricted Michigan Driver's License
    • Compassionate, Intelligent, Motivated, Team Player
    Working Conditions:
    Work involves the ability to have a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends as needed.
