- Define and specify cGMP process equipment, piping, and controls to enhance production capability and quality standards.
- Participate in equipment design review, installation, and acceptance processes.
- Troubleshoot filling and packaging equipment, offering solutions to prevent downtime.
- Develop and refine processes for troubleshooting manufacturing technical issues.
- Ensure continuous equipment operation and resolve production equipment problems effectively.
- Serve as a technical expert in the filling or packaging domain.
- Maintain secure and efficient manufacturing systems, focusing on production rates and safety.
- Coordinate engineering trials, prepare reports, and present findings.
- Assist QA and Validation departments in document preparation and protocol execution.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions for equipment and processes.
- Modify procedures for efficient equipment operation.
- Propose and implement operational improvements utilizing Lean principles.
- Ensure safety requirements are met within the processes.
- Support in researching and acquiring new manufacturing technology and equipment.
- Ensure timely project completion and adherence to financial budgets.
- Assist in training operations and maintenance staff.
- May oversee contractors and personnel.
- Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.
- Thorough knowledge of cGMPs and equipment design.
- Advanced understanding of engineering documentation for cGMP process equipment.
