    The Software Engineer III provides solutions and designs, develops, and supports custom Intranet, Mobile applications, and Internet applications.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    Designs, develops and maintains a wide landscape of databases, including document-based (mongoDb), relational (MySQL, SqlServer), key-value store (Redis) etc.


    Participates in new enterprise-level application solutions, development and modification of the front-end, as well as the business logic, builds Web API/ Web service.

    Ensures that the solutions meet the non-functional requirements such as scalability, reliability, and performance

    Builds and supports DevOps/CICD software delivery model

    Contributes to requirements-gathering, creates design specifications, and technical design of applications

    Adheres to the Company's architecture principles, design, development, test, implementation, and maintenance standards

    Collaborates with the QA and development teams to ensure that automated tests are integrated into the software development lifecycle

    Participates in project status meetings as required and provides project status updates

    Coaches and guides junior development team members in design, coding, continuous integration, and agile development methodologies

    Provides technical advice and options to management and provides programming perspective on requirements

    Performs other duties as assigned/necessary


    Minimum Requirements:
    Combined eight to twelve years of experience of software system development

    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or related field) with 6 years related work experience, or Master's Degree in Computer Science (or related field) with 4 years of related work experience, or at least twelve (12) years of work experience required

    Experience with developing at least one cloud infrastructure provider and solid understanding on Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Infrastructure-as a-service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-service (PaaS) and their deployment models

    Application development with mainstream frameworks, proficient with at least one object-oriented language (C#, Java) and at least one scripting language (python, JavaScript/Typescript

    Professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

    Proficiency at version control with Git and comfortable working with trunk-based development model

    Solid understanding of design patterns and apply them to achieve loosely coupled, scalable software architecture

    Ability to achieve code excellence and set the standards for the organization

    Ability to handle risk and manage change comfortably

    Ability to work with higher level stakeholders and provide guidance for your team and product

    Strong analytical problem solver with attention to detail

    Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously

    Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language may be required
