- Providing personal care, exercise, and ambulation to patients per state and federal regulations
- Practicing safety techniques and proper body mechanics when administering care, transferring patients, and carrying out other responsibilities
- Recording vital signs or other metrics as directed
- Documenting and reporting changes in the patient's mental and physical condition to the Registered Nurse
- Participating in weekend rotation for scheduled visits
- Preparing light meals, doing laundry, and providing other essential household services for patient care
- Meeting educational requirements of twelve (12) hours
- Completion of a Certified Nurse Aide program with current certification
- Compliance with state regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a team and work independently with minimal supervision
