    Description

    Diesel Marine Engine Technician Opportunity

    We are seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Marine Engine Technician responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and diagnosing routine maintenance and emergency services on marine engines while providing repair recommendations to customers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform high-quality repairs and maintenance on inboard marine diesel engines according to manufacturer-designed procedures.
    • Accurately complete all required paperwork (e.g., repair information on work orders, inspection records) in a timely manner.
    • Diagnose engine failures by disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts.
    • Maintain adherence to company and industry safety standards.
    • Inspect vital parts to ensure proper operating conditions.

    Requirements:

    • 2+ Years of experience in diesel repair and maintenance, preferably in a heavy truck or fleet dealership environment.
    • Strong working knowledge of multiple systems (transmissions, engines, hydraulics, etc.), diagnostics, and troubleshooting techniques for diesel engines.
    • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Experience with Caterpillar ET and SIS software.
