    Position Specific Description

    We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Project Specialist to help support our East and North Region Solar PGD (Power Generation Division) Team. The Material Project Specialist will assist with coordinating and supporting all aspects of material procurement and management for solar operations within the designated region. Regular travel to project sites as needed.

    Job Overview


    This job coordinates job site set-up, fabrication of materials, and job site clean-up. Employees in this position create workflow efficiencies for large projects by making prudent financial decisions based on business needs, through procurement of non-standard materials.

    Job Duties & Responsibilities

    • Coordinates and performs job site set-up, to include ancillary support materials and services
    • Coordinates job site clean up, including proper accounting of used and unused materials
    • Coordinates fabrication of material per engineering or contractor specifications
    • Provides product knowledge to determine the best material to use as a substitute, when original materials are not available
    • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications

    • High School Grad / GED
    • Experience: 1+ years
    • Valid Driver's License (NON-CDL)

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience: 3+ years
    • DOT Hazmat Trng Accordnce 49 CFR
    • Commercial Driver's License
