    Job Description
    We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Climbing Arborist Trainee to join our team. As an intern, you will assist experienced arborists and horticulturists in performing tasks such as tree pruning, removal, and maintenance. You will also be responsible for operating equipment, including chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts, and participating in ongoing training and development programs. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.

    Required Skills and Qualifications
    To succeed in this role, you must have a strong desire to learn and develop new skills, a willingness to work safely and effectively in a team environment, and the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues and customers. A background in forestry, horticulture, or landscaping is preferred, but not required. You must also be able to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire and demonstrate relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates if required by state law.
