- Support the local satellite sites (Chelmsford, Norwood, Boston) with EHS culture and compliance
- Assist with the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management system to exceed regulatory, corporate and industry requirements and support the ongoing compliance with ISO 45001 ISO14001 & RBA Standard.
- Manage EHS procedures and develop/present training.
- Support site staff in developing safe work plans for complex tasks involving both employees and contractors.
- Problem solving
- Positive Management skills to keep up morale.
- Represent EHS requirements in technical design reviews of engineering projects.
- Perform periodic evaluations to ensure compliance with safety and environmental permits, plans, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate the root cause of EHS-related events and ensure the implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions.
- An interest in growing your career in a fast-paced work environment
- Be a key force in a positive, proactive, and integrated EHS culture.
- Present technical information to the management team and be the primary backup to the EHS manager
- Bachelors or Higher relevant degree in Science, Engineering or EHS, with at least 5 years of experience in areas related to environment, health, and safety.
- Previous experience developing, implementing, and managing ISO14001, OSHAS 18001, and/or ISO 45001 EHS Management systems, preferably within a manufacturing or related environment.
- Experience conducting Trainings
- Computer skills
- Project Management skills, developing projects, building project teams, and implementing EHS projects
- Cost Effective and budgeting experience
- Certified Safety Professional ( CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification is preferred
