- Support client service team and relationship managers in prepping and opening new accounts and other client account forms
- Run reports and provide status updates to senior client service associate(s) on new account forms, confirming account transition, creating CRM profiles, etc.
- Review processes and make suggestions to improve the client experience
- Prepare for client meetings and follow-up after meetings, track and complete pending activities
- Maintain and update client data, input updated values into appropriate planning and CRM software
- Assist with firm and team goals and ad hoc reporting requests from the team
- Prepare various reports for high net-worth clients
- Assist with office wide projects
- Use financial planning software (e.g. eMoney) to assist with preparation of plans
- Background in financial services, insurance, or employee benefits including any knowledge of retirement plans and investments (1 year experience preferred but not required)
- Good understanding of financial planning concepts and terminology a plus, willingness to learn required
- Exceptional customer service experience
- Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems
- Ability to interact with people across all levels of the business
