- Collaborate with Actuaries and Underwriting teams to ensure proper pricing of reinsurance products.
- Help maintain current PartnerRe actuarial pricing models and develop additional models to support the business.
- Assist with analysis and studies necessary to support annual updates to key model assumptions using internal and industry data.
- Make consistent progress towards ASA or FSA designation.
- Prioritize work to ensure delivery of a final product within deadlines.
- Understand and apply evolving insurance and reinsurance concepts and terminology.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Passed 2 or more actuarial exams
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
- Programming experience (VBA, SAS, R, Python)
- Clear oral and written communication skills
- Effective project management skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to learn and navigate existing systems and processes to accomplish business objectives.
