The KMBC 9 / KCWE 29 Internship Program is a paid, rigorous and highly competitive hands-on experience that provides individuals with the opportunity to learn about the operations of a broadcast television station.An intern in the KMBC KCWE Creative Services department can expect to gain hands-on experience in the marketing of each television station. They will learn about the promotion production process—including scripting, shooting, editing, and graphics creation. They will learn about strategies used to grow the KMBC 9 News brand as well as KCWE entertainment brands.
An internship at KMBC KCWE Creative Services will provide a great foundation for those interested in pursuing a career in marketing media production or broadcasting.
