Salary- from $75K- commensurate with experience

Equipped with your expertise in grocery distribution and foodservice, you will helm the backend operations of a high-volume warehouse while managing P&L, inventory control, merchandising, and manpower. What You'll Be Doing

Overseeing the general operations of the branch
Developing and maintaining business relationships with customers
Ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures
Reviewing financial and operational reports
Managing all warehouse operations
Defining the service standards and operational mission of the branch
Maximizing sales opportunities
Managing selection, annual performance appraisals, and professional development of all Management level personnel
Directly supervising and managing assistant branch managers and department managers
Coaching managers on employee relation issues
Maintaining communication with the Corporate Offices
Regularly reviewing inventory
Completing and processing necessary reports and paperwork

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required)
Minimum 4 years management experience in food service or grocery distribution
Background in P&L, Inventory control, merchandising, hiring / training staff, front end, merchandising, cash control, payroll, security / loss prevention
Experience in running a high volume warehouse operation
Strong communication and organizational skills
Demonstrated experience in managing and training staff
Proven commitment to customer service orientation
Familiarity with company policies and procedures as well as state and federal laws and regulations
Experience in reviewing inventory regularly to ensure accuracy and product availability
Ability to process necessary reports and paperwork accurately and timely
