    MPS is seeking a Senior Memory Systems Test Engineer.

    This role is responsible for the development and execution of validation plans and test cases for DDR memory systems You will work closely with customers, sales channels, field teams, internal product line teams, and marketing teams.


    Essential Functions:
    Develop plans to validate RDIMM/MRDIMM for DDR5 memory systems. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
    Validate DDR5 Register and Data buffer component functionality, compatibility, and performance
    Develop firmware and BIOS solutions to enhance memory system testing and debug
    Develop and implement RDIMM/MRDIMM margining algorithms to ensure robust operation under various server platforms and operating conditions
    Design and execute innovative test to stress the Register and Data buffer to their limits
    Identify component issues during memory system test and collaborate with the design team to identify the root cause of the issue
    Provide technical support and training for customers and field application engineer

    Qualifications:
    BS or MS in

    Electrical/Computer

    Engineering
    Strong experience in DDR5 memory system validation
    5+ years of relevant work experience
    Knowledge of DDR5 Training algorithms
    Experience with memory controllers, firmware, and BIOS development
    Solid understanding of memory system architecture and industry standards
    Knowledge of signal integrity is a plus
    Effective priority management skills across multiple tasks
    Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills

    Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons.

    The base salary range for this position in California is $115,000 - $170,000.
