    Job Title:

    Medical Surgical RN Travel Nurse



    We are seeking highly skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurses (RNs) for immediate travel nurse openings. The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.

    As a MedSurg RN, you will conduct comprehensive patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on patients' immediate needs. You will perform ongoing assessments and provide appropriate treatments as ordered by physicians. Accurate documentation of patient findings and providing education and support to patients' families is crucial in this role.

    Responsibilities:
    • Provide high-quality bedside care for a diverse range of patients, including pre- and post-operative patients.
    • Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications, reporting any adverse reactions.
    • Change dressings, insert catheters, and initiate IVs as required.
    • Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
    • Educate patients on surgical procedures and promote understanding.
    • Participate in discharge planning and develop patient education plans as prescribed by physicians.
    Medical Surgical Travel Nurses must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, bending, leaning, and stooping without difficulty. RNs should be able to lift up to 20 pounds easily, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds required. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment treating patients who may be confused, agitated, or uncooperative.

    Requirements:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
    • 3 Years of Experience
    *Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
